Invites You to Help Us

"Worm the World!"

For the love of our planet, for the love of humanity, and for the love of our wriggly friends!

ABOUT THE WORM COLLECTIVE

We are a group of sustainably-minded people, coming together to divert food waste from the waste stream and feed it to hungry composting worms. We create amazing, high-quality fertilizer (aka “vermicompost”) while growing a vibrant, healthy worm colony. We’re also here to share our knowledge and experience, and to encourage an affinity for the incredible power of composting worms.

We want to inspire others to do what we do – divert food waste, grow worms, and bring our communities closer together. As we do this, we can “Worm the World!” … for the love of our planet, for the love of humanity, and for the love of our wriggly friends.

WHY GROW WORMS?

Unsustainable farming practices are not only destroying our land and water, but are also deleterious to our health. With the stark realities of the looming climate crises, the growing trend of rising food cost, and the quest for healthier food options, we need to shift to sustainable ways of growing food locally while regenerating the earth.
